I've been informed by a reader that those new growth tips on redwoods are called "candles." Isn't that cute? And they really do shine.

Oh yeah, no valve stems yet.

And my schedule is now 10.30 to 3.30. Which means that I can get to town before things like the post office closes (it's not open on Sat.). So I'm okay with it.
