These images were taken seven minutes apart. Of the 21 total I took these are the only two that I kept. I would have taken more but I got the "change batteries" note flashing onscreen. At least it was finally a nice day: sunny, breezy.A nice young man I know from telephone and email only grew up here in Port Lavaca. Today, his mother and I went to lunch in town (the Texana Restaurant, grilled shrimp kebobs) and then shopped at Walmart, where I stocked up some for my upcoming two-month stint in the boonies. Nice to get out and it "looked right" with just two women.
Tomorrow I will begin doing inspections in and out of the rig and cleaning and checking things in preparation for heading off on New Year's Day.
